Go and remove your wards from School – NDC to parents

The opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) is urging dad and mom to take their wards out of the a range of secondary faculties to guard them against Covid-19.

According to the party, President Akufo-Addo’s selection to reopen school in spite of the extend in Covid-19 is a clear indication of where his activity lies.

Citing the closure of some key institutions such as the Finance Ministry due to the outbreak of the virus, the NDC argued that government is as a substitute involved in defending adults than younger college children.

“Nigeria is section of WASSCE and but they have positioned the lives of their college students over the exams. Is it not unusual that when country institutions report positive cases, straight away the establishments are shut down irrespective of how indispensable these institutions are? BOST and COCOBOD all shutdown so why are faculties not shutting down?” Sammy Gyamfi asked.

Speaking at the party’s 7th weekly media engagements, the National Communications officer suggested mother and father no longer to be deceived through government’s clarification that students are being stored in colleges for their WASSCE examination.

According to him, the move is only to make positive these college students register for the voters identity card.

“Do no longer be hoodwinked by way of Akufo-Addo and the NPP. Do no longer purchase that lie. It’s no longer about WASSCE due to the fact he doesn’t care about WASSCE. Government maintaining them in colleges is only to get the college students to register.”

Sammy Gyamfi additionally noted that parents would be risking the lives of their kids if they are saved in schools, predicting that authorities would close down colleges after the mass registration exercise.

“If parents don’t take their personal destinies and that of their young people into their fingers and go into these schools and deliver their adolescents into their homes, they will close down the colleges after.

“Because the registration workout is the solely reason at the back of the reopening,” he said.
