The Honourable member of Parliament for Akim Oda constituency, Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah this afternoon presented 100 sewing machines and hairdryer machines each to the first batch of artisans in Akim Oda constituency.
This forms part of his promise to his electorates to develop, resource and support artisans in the constituency.
Presenting the items together with the Municipal Chief Executive Hon Victoria Adu and the Presiding Member of Birim Central Assembly, Hon. Castro Asumadu Addae (Castro Physics), Hon Alexander Akwasi Acquah charged the beneficiaries of the items to make good use of the equipment.
In the fight against Covid-19, the law marker admonish the beneficiaries to take the Covid-19 protocols very serious. He told them to be ambassadors to advocate the frequent wearing of nose mask and washing of hands.
