Nigerian singer and songwriter, Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu, known by his stage name as Ric Hassani has cast a funny dose of humour on the internet space.
In a social media post, Hassani revealed that he’s the type who appreciates a serene atmosphere so when he realized his cook was compromising his peace with the ringtone of his mobile phone, he offered a lasting solution.
Hassani explained that his cook’s ringtone sounded like a Korean cultural dance which usually interrupted him anytime he was having deep thoughts so he bought him a new one.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote;
I so like my peace and quiet, i no like jiggy jiggy. I once bought my cook a new phone because I hated his ring.tone. He had one of those small phones that the ring.tone sounds like Korean cultural dance. It was stressing my deep thoughts.
Hassani released his debut album The African Gentleman in 2016. He is said to have a dress style that is influenced by his self-acclaimed stance as a gentleman.
Hassani was nominated in three categories at the 2016 All Africa Music Awards: Best Artiste in African R&B and Soul, Video of the Year, and Most Promising Artiste.
He also received two nominations at The Headies 2016, including Best Alternative Song for “Gentleman”.
In December 2018, the Falz and Olamide-assisted “Believe” won Best Collaboration at the Galaxy Music Awards (Wikipedia).
