Rancher Who Impregnated His Girl Ends It All In Police Cell

A 42-year old rancher, Yaw Tawiah who was associated with impregnating his stepdaughter at Ntonso, a cultivating network close Sankore in the Asunafo South District of the Ahafo locale has passed on in police care, MyNewsGh.com reports.

Police say he draped himself in the latrine inside the cells of the Sankore Police Station on Sunday first light.

The Asunafo South District Police Commander, ASP Lawrence Adombire who affirmed the occurrence to Kumasi-based Angel FM said the suspect was on remand and was expected to return in court on Wednesday, January 8, 2020.

“He was captured multi week back on doubt that he had impregnated his stepdaughter; he was sent to court on third January, 2020 and he was remanded and was expected to return on Wednesday; however he balanced himself on Sunday day break”, ASP Adombire said.

The police boss said the suspect “tore a bit of the cover that was given to him at the cell and tied it onto the iron bar of the window at the cell’s can and held tight it”.

“The official at the charge office possibly went to discover him hanging when he considered him a few times with no reaction; his better half and the assemblyman in his town was called to watch the body before he was loosened”, ASP Adombere included.

The body of the perished has since been stored at the Goaso Hospital funeral home, while the police proceed with examinations concerning the issue.
