... every soul of the land needs to be buried back

The History Behind The "ANYAKO" Statue told by Kobby Kyei, Ghanaian Journalist.
On My Way Back From Togo, I made a stop at a small village in the VOLTA REGION OF GHANA called ANYAKO.
I saw this STATUE and decided to ask about the history and it significance.
I was told The warriors of the land ( Anyako) went for battle and one of them suddenly took ill and died but as their custom, they need to bring the body back home for a befitting burial but due to the distance, they couldn’t carry the body back home so they had to cut the head of the warrior to return home. Significantly, every soul of the land needs to be buried back home. ????
