You’re An Idiot’ – King Promise Reveals Black Stars Conversation With Hudson-Odoi

Musician King Promise has revealed having conversations with Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi over his nationality switch from England to play for Ghana’s Black Stars.

The 21-year-old has been linked with Ghana since visiting the country of his parents last year. There are reports it is just a matter of time and the processes will be concluded so he can play for Ghana.

Hudson-Odoi has featured three times for England’s Three Lions but is still eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana, according to Fifa rules.

“I have been bothering him about playing for Ghana,” King Promise told Kumasi-based YFM in an interview.

“I don’t remember the last time we spoke but I told him bro, I will call you till you change your mind and every time I call him and I am like, bro, Black Stars and he is like you are an idiot.”

King Promise also added that he has been speaking with Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah as well, who reports say he has already acquired a Ghana passport.

“I do the same with Nketiah and like bro, you have to play for Ghana, and anyone who is a Ghanaian and can play, I urge them to play. I don’t know if he will play for Ghana, but I have done my part.”
